Flow Monitoring

Non-Invasive, Real-time temporary or permanent flow monitoring, using the latest clamp-on technology.  With Aqua-Tech’s Technical Services providing detailed results, reports and recommendations.

What is Flow Monitoring?

Temporary and permanent flow monitoring by utilising clamp-on flowmeters. This engineering package comprises of surveying the asset, on site telemetry, size of pipework. Fitting clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters using Senapsis RPF-400 portable (battery powered and 24vdc) and WM-400 wall mounted units (mains powered), verifying pipe thickness. The RPF-400 and WM-400 wall mounted units were connected to the onsite telemetry for remote flow monitoring, back to the central control room.  Also utilised on the project was Katronic KATflow-200 clamp-on meters for flow verification. Our Technical Services team (meet them here) then provide detailed survey results and reports captured in real time and issued back to the client.

Advantages of Our Flow Monitoring Service

  • Non-Invasive, Non-Corrosive, Noncontact: Will not damage critical pipe infrastructure over time (No Galvanic Action)
  • Easy to use with corrosive liquids: Does not contaminate sterile liquids
  • Does not obstruct flow: Cannot break off in fluid damaging other critical infrastructure such as pumps
  • Easy and quick to install: Do not need to carry out engineering works to cut, or drill pipe
  • Quick to Install: Can be setup and running in 5 mins
  • Fast sampling rate: Increased Accuracy
  • Very Low Power: Up to 500 days of logging
  • No moving parts: to fail or require maintenance
