They are recognized for their expertise in earthworks, drainage, and utilities, supporting sustainable and efficient project delivery from start to finish. 

Job Summary:

We are looking for an organized and proactive Site Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience in managing site operations in collaboration with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Oversee construction site activities, ensuring work aligns with project plans, design specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering expertise on-site, interpret construction drawings, and resolve any technical issues that arise. Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and testing materials and work completed.
  • Setting Out & Surveying: Perform accurate setting out and leveling of construction sites, using surveying equipment to guide construction activities and ensure precision. Health & Safety
  • Compliance: Promote and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, identifying and mitigating potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of daily site activities, progress reports, and material usage, assisting in the preparation of reports for project management.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and labor on-site, working with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize resources and minimize delays.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients, keeping all parties informed of progress, potential delays, and any necessary adjustments to project timelines. 

Skills & Experience Required: Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards. Familiarity with construction surveying, setting out, and CAD software.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., CSCS card in the UK) are advantageous. Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects. Proven experience working on-site with construction teams and contractors.
