About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician with a strong background in the water or other industrial sectors. This role will involve a split between workshop-based work and on-site installation at water treatment facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and fault-finding to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in both workshop and on-site environments.
• Work on water treatment sites and other industrial locations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and industry standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical systems and components.
• Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.

Key Requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671).
• Proven experience in industrial electrical installations, preferably in the water industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• ECS / CSCS Card (desirable).
• Confined Space Training (desirable).
• CompEx certification (advantageous but not essential).
