Aqua-Tech Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MEICA Project Manager to join this rapidly growing company due to significant contract wins. Gearing up for an extremely exciting period of expansion, we are looking for the successful candidate to join the team and be responsible for the procurement of goods and services, preparing estimates and quotations and completing contract documents. The post holder will also produce risk assessments and method statements and manage health and safety and environmental issues. Ultimately. they will manage the performance of a project end-to-end, while also supervising operational teams including Site, Supervisors and sub-contractors. Duties/Responsibilities will include: The MEICA Project Manager will be meeting with Clients to discuss specific job requirements The MEICA Project Manager will design reviews Checking quotations and dealing with pricing queries Reviewing SSoW/RAMS The MEICA Project Manager will liaise with sub-contractors Carrying out scoping visits and site surveys The MEICA Project Manager will supervise site based staff Requirements: Recognised qualification or equivalent experience Water industry experience Sound knowledge of Electrical components and equipment Any associated cards (CSCS, DOMS, Confined Space etc) would be beneficial but not essential. What’s in it for you: Salary: £50,000-£70,000 doe (a lot of scope for progression & reviewed annually by the Directors). Holidays: 34 days holiday per year, including statutory. Pension: Company would pay 6% and you can elect to pay-in the same or more Car/Allowance: You can either elect to have a car to the value of around £18,000 or take a £4000/annum car allowance, with which to pay for your own car. Fuel: You would receive a Fuel Card to pay for business use/miles. Personal mileage would be deducted monthly from your salary, if applicable. Bonuses: Currently these have been paid twice annually for the past several years and whilst not guaranteed, they are generally paid in July and December and are the discretion of the Directors. Sick Pay: This is paid at the discretion of the Directors, based on the circumstances. Freedom: There is a significant amount of freedom & trust to do your job, without being under constant scrutiny. Support: There is a wealth of support available within the company, from technical assistance, to being put on courses, to mental health support. PPE: Provided Christmas Night Out: The company arranges a Christmas Night Out each year, during which the food and drinks are paid for and travel home. Fun Friday: Once per month, each employee gets to spend £10 on Fun Friday (food/snacks or soft drinks) and can claim this back on expenses. Safety: putting health, wellbeing and safety of people first People: engaging and empowering everyone to deliver and grow Delivery: helping deliver clients business needs Integrity: behaving respectfully and in a sustainable manner to the individual, communities and the environment, maintaining accountability and honesty in the way you work The Role The role of the Electrical Junior Technician Design Engineer will be based in Cumbernauld (Scotland) and involves the following: • The Electrical Junior Technician Design Engineer will follow and carry out day to day tasks given from the supervisor/manager • The Electrical Junior Technician Design Engineer will be Interfacing with other departments (PM’s, C&A, telemetry, sales) to ensure all MCC solutions are delivered on time and budget • Interfacing with shopfloor (panel build supervisor/builders, procurement) to ensure lean build time and catch any issues through panel build phase • The Electrical Junior Technician Design Engineer will carry out project delivery milestones (producing/amending MCC drawing work packs which include GA, schematics, BOM’s etc) • The Electrical Junior Technician Design Engineer will collate project documentation (as built drawings, test reports, datasheets, calculations etc) to populate the technical construction file for CE marking • Continual Professional Development Requirements • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (word, excel, teams, etc) • Must have some workshop/tools background looking for progression into an engineering design role • Must have Electrical HNC / 18 th edition / test & inspection • Some knowledge of motor starter circuits (although training will be given) • Some knowledge PLC/control circuits (although training will be given) • Some knowledge of field instrumentation (flow/pressure/level/temperature) • Experience in using AutoCAD drawing package Beneficial • AutoCAD Electrical • Knowledge of Siemens products (G120 VSD’s, S7-1200/1500 PLC’s, SIRUS range control equipment) • Knowledge of Profibus communication protocol This is a permanent role on £23,500 - £30,000 with scope for progression within the company.
